About these terms
These terms cover your use of builtbykyrell.com, run by Built by Kyrell ("I," "me," "my"), a web design business in North Hills, California. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Pricing and quotes
The prices on this site, such as $850 to $1,500 for a website and $75 a month for the care plan, are general ranges to give you an idea of cost. They aren't a binding offer. Your actual price depends on what you need and how you want your site to look, and I'll confirm it with you in writing before any work or payment.
Free mockups
A free mockup is a design preview of what your homepage could look like. It's free, and asking for one doesn't commit you to anything. The mockup design stays mine unless you hire me to build the site, so please don't use it, or have someone else build from it, without working with me.
Client projects
If you hire me, we'll sign a separate written agreement that covers the scope of work, price, payment schedule, timeline, who owns what, and how the care plan works and can be canceled. If that agreement and these terms ever disagree, the agreement wins.
Portfolio and other businesses' names
The work shown on this site is either work for real clients or a concept design, and each one is labeled. Concept designs are examples of my work. Unless a project is labeled "Client," that business hasn't hired me and doesn't endorse my work. Business names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners.
My content
The design, text, graphics, logo and code of this site belong to Built by Kyrell. You're welcome to look, share links and get inspired, but please don't copy or reuse them without my permission.
Using the site and the contact form
Please don't use the site to send spam, harmful code or anything illegal, and don't try to break into, overload or interfere with the site. I may block messages or visitors that do.
Links to other sites
The site links to other places, like Instagram and my clients' websites. I don't control those sites and I'm not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
No guarantees
I work hard to keep this site accurate and running, but it's provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. I can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Built by Kyrell isn't responsible for any indirect or consequential losses that come from using this website. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.
California law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute about this website will be handled in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
Changes
I may update these terms from time to time. When I do, I'll change the date at the top of this page.
